This comprehensive Concealed Carry Certification Course is designed for individuals seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit while ensuring they are well-informed and responsible firearm owners. The course combines classroom instruction with practical range training, covering essential topics such as:

• Legal Responsibilities: Understanding local, state, and federal laws regarding concealed carry, self-defense, and firearm ownership.

• Firearm Safety: Emphasizing the fundamental principles of safe firearm handling and storage.

• Marksmanship: Developing shooting skills through hands-on practice, including proper grip, stance, and aim.

• Concealment Techniques: Learning effective methods for carrying concealed weapons safely and discreetly.

• Self-Defense Strategies: Discussing situational awareness and de-escalation techniques to prevent conflicts.

• Live fire qualifications will take place after the classroom portion at the range. Course fee per person is $80.00 with the option to rent a handgun and purchase ammunition.

• Handgun in good working order (gun rental is available for $20).

• Lunch/Snacks or you can leave during the time provided for lunch to grab something on your own.

Classroom portion will be held at the Rocky Point Fire Department (1425 Porters Lane Rd, Rocky Point, NC 28457). Class starts at 9:00am and once we are finished, we will have a short drive to a private shooting range to finish out the day. Directions to range will be provided during class.
